Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings
What We Do
Butler Manufacturing™
Insulated Metal Panels
Roof & Walls
What is a PEMB?
A pre-engineered metal building, or PEMB, gives you the power of modular construction combined with customization and optimization. Created with recycled steel and little production waste, you get unmatched cost and time savings from metal buildings. The building components arrive ready for construction, in the order they should be assembled.
Our Partnership with Butler Manufacturing™
Insulated Metal Panels, Roofs & Walls
Insulated metal panels offer businesses cost-effective and energy-efficient options for controlling climate and energy use. At Oradell Construction, we use high-quality, proven building systems to protect data centers, advanced medical facilities, and even offices or privately owned buildings.
Combined with Butler metal roof systems, your project gets weather resistance and long-term protection with decades of warranties for peace of mind.
Building Solutions from Butler Manufacturing™
For over a century, Butler® has been renowned for pioneering innovations in commercial and industrial construction. Butler dominates the industry by providing many choices for the aesthetic and functional aspects of steel buildings. Moreover, the adaptability of a Butler building makes it exceptionally well-suited for commercial, industrial, and community projects.
Design-Driven Construction
Conventional or hybrid building designs come in any shape or size to meet the demands of any project. The complete project can be planned, engineered, and crafted by Butler, for adaptability to align with your vision.
Sustainable Steel
Steel remains the most recycled material on the planet, and is one of the most sustainable building choices available. Your metal building will be built using recycled steel and can be recycled again at the end of its useful life.
Eliminate Roof Leaks
The MR-24® Roof System is the top standing-seam roof system on the market, with more than 2 billion square feet installed worldwide. The MR-24® roofing system incorporates distinctive design elements that can accommodate roof expansion and contraction due to temperature fluctuations, and effectively eliminate roof leaks for decades.
Performance, Protection, Possibilities
Architects, builders, and building owners agree: Butler roof systems provide a complete system to meet the most critical concerns of modern construction. Leaks or rising energy use? Our Retrofit Roof systems provide metal-over-metal or slope build-up options that are fully engineered to meet the requirements of the most stringent performance standards.
New from Butler
A truly innovative construction system, the LogistX® is a big-box solution for your warehouse and distribution needs. An investment-quality building featuring tilt-up walls, a diaphragm structural deck, and a TPO membrane roof for the most efficient combination of building tested building techniques.
Speed and Efficiency With PEMBs
Butler’s pre-engineered steel building systems are widely recognized as the most efficient and effective construction solution in the low-rise construction sector. Choosing design/build construction will let us optimize your project for the most building for your budget.
Save Energy
Cut down on your long-term costs with Butler’s tried-and-tested assemblies. Our Guarded Hot Box lets you see how well your roof, wall, and insulation system assemblies perform right on site. Plus, creating Com-Check reports to meet even the toughest energy code standards is a breeze.
Benefits of Three Plate Steel Frames Utilized in Standard Pre-Engineered Metal Building Systems
Three plate steel frames are a type of cold-formed steel (CFS) structure that consists of three steel plates welded together at right angles. They are used as columns, beams, and rafters as part of standard Pre-Engineered Metal Building Framing Systems. Compared to standard hot rolled steel frames, three plate steel frames have some advantages, such as:
- Lighter and more economical frames since they use less material and reduce the dead load of the structure.
- Used to help maximize roof spans in applications that require large interior clear spaces, without or limiting the requirement for interior columns.
- Flexible designs that allow for greater value engineering based on specific project requirements. For example, columns can be straight, tapered, or straight up to a certain elevation and then tapered above to allow for specific clearances.
- Higher quality control since they are manufactured in a factory with precise dimensions and tolerances.
Efficiency is Key
In summary, the use of three plate steel frames allows for more cost-effective solutions and more efficient designs.
Our Projects
Building 880 (Merck) - Rahway, NJ
The construction of a 91,000 square foot pre-engineered metal building, including insulated metal wall panels and standing seam roof panels; design, fabrication, and installation of precast foundation walls. Inclusions of miscellaneous structural steel structures within the building, such as stairs, platforms, safety tie-off, and support members.
American Cyanamid (Pfizer) - Bridgewater, NJ
Design and building a one-story pre-engineered metal building bearing on cast-in-place foundation slab on grade with poured first floor level slab, insulated metal panel walls, and metal standing seam metal roof panels.
