When you work with OCCI on a design/build project, we become your single source of responsibility. You don’t have to juggle architects, construction management, and all the other moving parts. Design-Build Method

Design/build is the most efficient construction method. Traditional design-bid-build construction creates a bottleneck from the beginning. You won’t get a cost estimate until you’ve completed the lengthy project bid process, and then you’re hoping for the fewest miscommunications between your chosen design and construction teams.

When your construction crew inevitably runs into an issue, it has to go back to the designer for costly change orders, increasing your cost and timeline.

Design/build construction eliminates all that.

Design Build Process
As you can see, your project costs are established early. Also, because we understand current supply line projections, have industry connections for materials, and can use our team’s experience to predict issues, the budget is more reliable.

Our Project Superintendents and Trade Foremen, equipped with invaluable on-site expertise, actively engage in the design review procedure. They provide valuable input on constructability, frequently resulting in cost savings, reduced Requests for Information (RFIs), and expedited project schedules.

Using design/build we can also begin construction after the initial plans are finished. Details can be completed while site work has begun.
